DV Monk Training

17th April – 12th May 2025

Do you know what is a monk? It’s one of the most beautiful things … I don’t need you. I’m good. A monk is not shaving his head bald and begging. It’s a state I’m independent to me. Beggar I’m not.

About the programme

The Monk Training Programme by Dhyan Vimal shares the 6 principles of the monk via lessons, silent sittings, meditations and celebrations. It is a study for those who have reached the point of saying, I choose me and I am no longer willing to compromise myself.

The Six Principles

Hear the wisdom from Dhyan Vimal

Am I a free person? The monk is. The essence of the monk is he somehow manages in this world of enslavement, to find a space within him to keep his freedom intact. Because only in the freedom, the truth of him comes out.

The truth of the monk is not somebody who doesn’t possess anything; nothing possesses him that he has to deny his truth of aloneness.

You know what is a monk? It’s one of the most beautiful things… I don’t need you. I’m good. A monk is not shaving head bald and begging. It’s a state I’m independent to me. Beggar I’m not. What is sannyas? The trust bestowed upon me I shall never forsake.

The foundation of the monk training is to be in a space I’m unreflected. The state of me is not based on a reflection, it’s on legitimacy… I am, I am, I am. My capacity to recognise me independent of my environment, who I am, is not entangled with the world, it stands alone by itself… I am. I’m good not because somebody is bad. I’m bad not because somebody is good. I am, I am, I am.

Only in deep contemplation and studying, one can come to the light that will awaken oneself, it never happens without this commitment. This is the study.
